St. Patrick's Day, Leprechauns, Weather, & More!

These mathematicians are so focused and in charge! Here you can see some brilliant minds competing to 50 by adding with dice and solving single digit adding and subtracting problems.

Some students reading math books and working with their 4th grade Big Buddies!

We spent some time looking over different pictures related to weather with a partner and jotting down notes, questions, and other observations! The students are great at negotiating with one another and navigating this activity. They are paired up, given 1 pencil and then invited to roam the room. Each pair is instructed to make notes on their observations as they go sharing their pencil and discussing their observations with one another.

Mystery Reader time!!!
